Aye! he does that in Batman begins its just his thing I guess to make sure people don't recognize him as Brucie.
Doesnt bother me but many people have said the same thing.
I thought it was good, not as good as Batman Begins but not as bad as some recent superhero films like Hulk or Spiderman 3.

Best superhero film I've seen for a long time despite dragging on for so long - and I'm damn critical about my movies.

Re: Batman - the dark Knight
I mentioned this on another thread I think but I'll have another go.
I thought it was about 30 - 45 minutes too long, Heath does not deserve an Oscar nomination for basically just licking his lips every now and again.
And especially after how good Bat Begins was it was a massive disappointment.
I shall now step off......

Re: Batman - the dark Knight
Best thing to do is watch something like Spiderman 3, Batman Forever adn then watch Dark Knight.
For me it is a good film I love Christopher Nolan but it lacks something Begins had.
It felt really Hollywoodnised, which might sound stupid, but teh first was last gasp casino for the batman franchise and Nolan saved it and it felt a little more serious and paced. This was all out Mega Blockbuster Hollywood says Bigger, Faster is Better. Which sort of ruined it in my eyes.
Heath is great but I def wanted more moodiness from him and even though everybody says its dark, I didnt feel it was as dark the pace was off and it never built up psychological darkness coz it was too fast paced.
LOL...
Non the less I did enjoy it and their are some great bits I just wanted it to be slower. But then the film would have been 4 hours long.

i should watch this film again before i talk about it but... i can only remeber one bit of funny violence (the pencil trick) the rest of the joker was clever and menacing but nothing too weird creepy funny, i liked thie film though.
mate said he didnt even like batman begins so wont be watching TDK , stunned me shitless.

Re: Batman - the dark Knight
sorry for digging up and old thread but.....
I watched this when it came out a few months back wasn't really to impressed with it tbh BUT I'm just back from seeing this at my local IMAX and what a difference this made, something about huge screen and the sound affects WOW.
so if you can get the chance to see this at an IMAX i would really advise you to go.

Re: Batman - the dark Knight
I enjoyed it and thouht it was an impressive film.
BUT I really enjoyed BATMAN BEGINS much more, this one felt like they tried to cram too much in and spoilt it a little. While BEGINS is a lot slower, brings better pace and is a little more concentrated and less about acting roles but script and dialogue.
I did enjoy Dark Knight though...

when I saw dark night first time round I think I was expecting to much after watching begins so was a little disappointed BUT that changed last night at the IMAX, I can't believe the difference this makes to a film.
