Application for post of Cannon Fodder

Good Morning,

although i havent had a chance to play with any of ya yet, (warms hands in anticipation) i would like to apply for a trial membership in this here clan.

I am particulary interested in the the post of Cannon Fodder as i feel that i have the neccessary experience in this area required to fulfill the role to its full potential.

Recent fodder experiences include:
7 respawns continously met with claymores.
Falling from the tops of buildings still in a sniping position.
Jumping out of cars at high speed only to succcessfully get up, take aim and ...then get ran over by a binman's van.
Being stuck in a portal loop long enough to make a cup of tea.
Parking my Coquette on a high rise balcony (picture available).

I work well with others and enjoy the experience of being "teabagged", which i find is always a good teambuilding exercise.

Thursday and Sunday are clan nights where we all try and get on if possible...
We are playing COD4 and Gears mostly. I think in the future we may have Thursdays set to (Uno/Gears) and Sunday (COD4) and then any other days are for whatever anybody feels like or arranges on these boards.

Tis nice have new faces so I'm sure you'll get on fine here. And we are a friendly bunch that anybody can get on with.
So simply to get voted in just post away on boards and join with us on a few games.

yey new member, the role of cannon fodder is pretty much all of us i'd say, not the most skilled bunch but we have a good laugh and thats what matters, hopefull y get some games in real soon, COD 4 and gears seem to be the games of the moment

got some competition for the role of bullet magnet eh? I think not, I really am bad, but ya know while i'm taking bullets, others ain't, so i see it as a service i'm providing, and am always looking to increase my team size, welcome to the trials (box of soapy frogs at the ready for induction). Matches are a real laugh, already gamed against the north enders who were a great lot too. And interclan matches are soooo funny. welcome to the show.

Aye Ego I havent played Gears for over a year.
And it was a right blast last night. Really enjoyed it even when losing. Lot less serious than COD4 but no less tension.

Yarr! i'll be more than happy to help ya increase your size. er.. team size that is! Well give me a poke when ya on COD4, i only just got the maps and now i can actually use the sniping set, so i'm all set!

I'm also desperate to play Team Fortress too, as every game i do get onto is full of ..er.. (searches for a PC way of puting it) ... (gives up) stoopid kiddies!

also, does anyone think it might be worth me getting Halo3 and GOW?

altho i do have Perfect Dark Zero & BF:BC that i havent played yet!

toughie, halo 3 hasn't been played yet, though i keep tryin to push for a game, GOW will be played but number 2 is out in a month?! i think a game of TF2 is very doable, just need stu to get a router

I'd say Gears will be played for the next 2 months and then will be dropped for Gears 2. It has a good SP though so maybe worth £10-15.

Halo 3 is a game a fair few of us have but dont play often. Again its a good game but unless you have some spare quids I'd not bother at moment...

You have the most played game COD4 which is what counts.

I have perfect dark zero too, very overlooked, and a lot of fun, maybe we can sort a gathering one night for it. GOW is great fun, so i'd say worth picking up, halo3 is ok, but a bit samey, and a bit pricey still at the mo.

Halo3: i was told that they are releasing some new missions & map before christmas. saw a new copy for £20 once but mos are still over £30

GOW: I'll see if i can get a copy if the SP is good. GOW2 7/11/08, RRP £49.99! seen it cheaper other places.

i went bed before i pooped meself! I'm losing it! gonna have to watch Shaun of the Dead or Planet Terror to get prepared for it.

You played dead rising? bit annoying, but worth it just to be a able to knock zombies heads off with a golf club or a boomerang or lawn mower.
