Thanks for the replies, folks. I'm still contemplating a return to WoW for the Expansion, but I don't know. If I do go back, I won't spend half as much time as I used to, due to my Uni commitments (and a boatload of 360 releases to keep me occupied).

Hey chap came to the right place...

We are a clan (slash) community who play a few clan bashes and lots of inter-clan fun to keep things ticking. We play for fun and every now and then toss in a bit of competitiveness buts it all molded together for enjoyment.

We play mostly COD4 but will be adding COD5 and Gears 2 to our (CLAN GAME ROSTER) we dont expect everybody to own all 3 games or only play those games. But those are the games we try and get people to have at least 1 so we can get together and have fun.
Our Clan Fun nights are Thursday and Sunday evenings where most of us try and get on if possible.

We have a lot of competitions but mostly are handed to Clan members first so if you are interested in our community just post in the (MWG Join) thread and we will put you on a 2 week trial and open up the Clan/Community section.
We have a Uno league ending soon (winner gets Gears 2) which happens every Thurs from 7-8pm. That ends in 2 weeks and will be taken over by another fun arcade game, I think it will be a Worms League and we will be looking for around 10 members and again the winner takes home a (360 release from next year maybe Splinter Cell or something)...The Sign Up for that will be in a fortnight...

We also have BATTLE OF THE MUPPETS: Which is a mess about with the MUPPET COUNCIL versus THE MUPPET MEMBERS.
Always good fun among other comps and clan matches...

Please feel free to spam in the general section, chat movies/music/books or chat about upcoming games in the 360 section etc...

Anyway thanks for popping along tis a lovely place here full of different skills and fun personnalities...

I gave up WoW 6 months ago, just becoz its far too addictive I found I was getting up 30 mins earlier before work just to check my sales/auctions. And was jumping on it straight after work. It really is a life ruiner (imo)... With 360/consoles you just chuck them on and then off when you feel like it.
I am tempted by new WoW but will not by it I remember what it did to me and see how my brother is totally addicted to it...

If you do give it up then your more than welcome to hang with us anytime. But I fear if you get the Wow bug we won't see you much, lol...

Heya - I'm not sure if I fully want to Affliliate myself with a clan as yet - but I'll definitely keep it in mind. I've got Call of Duty 4 (I think Level 7 or 8 Prestige), I will be getting Gears 2, and Call of Duty 5. I'm currently playing Fable 2 a lot, and enjoy the odd bash at PES 2009 or, preferably FIFA 09. But yeah, I'm up for a few of these gaming evenings with you guys. Just fling an invite or two my way and I'll scuttle along to play alongside some of you guys. In regards to WoW - Lich King is still on Pre-Order but I really don't know how things will work out with it. I've just persuaded myself to part with another MMO (I was on the Beta for Football Manager Live - but lost interest..Not as good as it should be) so I cancelled my pre-order for that. So hopefully I'll resist the temptation of shiny new items and snowy scenery...

Didnt like it at all disappointing...

Well, it was great. I was on the Server 11, and enjoyed it..Built up a great squad, had Hargreaves running the game in Midfield then the server broke - they lost all data, so I had to start everything from scratch. That shook my confidence, then I felt like starting again was too much of a chore. I had more fun playing 1 hour of FM 08 than 1 month of FML after that.
