DBZ - Burst Limit Empty DBZ - Burst Limit

Mediocre game that didn't live up to the hype created by the Budokai series.

This game feels sloppy and rushed. There is no real skill to it except for spamming special attacks. A new feature, 'Drama Pieces' is downright annoying. There are so many characters missing, and the storyline doesn't even follow a great structure - it skips between three sagas, with the occasional odd battle that is absolutely out of place, and simply an excuse to introduce a character. For christ's sake, we don't want to play as all of the Ginyu force!

I'll be honest; the only redeeming quality of this game (for me at least, being very critical with fighting games), is the rendering; the graphics are absolutely fantastic, and what storyline there is has been remade in beautiful cutscenes. The animations for the fighting is great, and the special moves are awe-inspiring.

But even for a die-hard DBZ fan (Like myself), there's too much missing from this game to make it worth buying. Steer clear.
