Worms Arcade

Well Worms works best when its not 3d and its playable in the old style.
This version on Xbox Live is very good but it does lack options, settings and any sort of new modes that could have livened it up a bit more.

The campaign itself is usual Worms affair but would have been nice to see a more indepth campaign maybe a world map with different worm factions to conquer or something of the like as it is the single player is pretty basic worms carnage which is fun but a missed oppurtunity.

The multiplayer is where the real fun is and with 3 other friends it can be a right laugh.
There a are few options you can tweak but tis a shame theirs not more to be honest like in the PC version. The game aslo lacks a map editor which is a shame but it does have a map generator which can create some random maps for you.

In all the quirky charm remains and though the game can be a little slow at times its still a blast to play.

Agree with the above - tbh me and the daughter have hammered this playing with 2 AI teams,had some good laughs along the way.
I agree with more options needed and DLC

Don't forget anyone who has this to d\l the free space map and voice pack (scousers are a scream)

theres free DLC for worms?

yep some are free some are 100-200 points. Think all the sound packs are free now...
