The Battle of The Muppets VI

SAVING PRIVATE BEAKER

In the Last Great Invasion of the Last Great Muppet War, The Greatest Danger for Fourteen Muppets was Saving... One Muppet.

The mission is a muppet.

There was only one muppet left in that family, and the mission was to save that muppet from certain death from the forces of teh council...

I'll see you on the battlefield...

BATTLE ONE:
TEAM DEATHMATCH (CASTLE)

The Serfs took the battle to the Council and for much of the fight the Council stayed in touching distance. Malfius, Boosh and Robsky picked up the majority of the kills for the Council. But the serf skills of Rossinio & Hodgy ripped through the heart of the Council and towards the end they pulled away. The Council was upset with the defeat but felt that this was their likeliest weakest battle and hoped to do better with the other battles

MWG COUNCIL 678-840 MWG SERFS

BATTLE TWO:
DOMINATION NO STREAKS (HANGER)

The Council new they had to start well but Hodgy & Rossinio legged it to the (important) middle flag and captured it before we could get our feet. They defended with grit and passion and though the Council captured 2 points on a few occassions it was too little too late. Rossinio was on fire this round defending points with Greg SBB who continously threw himself into battle to help out his team mates.

MWG COUNCIL 141-201 MWG SERFS

BATTLE THREE:
LOSERS ARE WINNERS (COURTYARD)

The Council needed to win this to have any chance of winning and they played really well. It was very tense and close and for the most part their was only 1-2 kills in it, only in the last 3 mins did the council pull away with a 3-4 kill lead. Lemonyvodka, Villagerr and Malfius dipped in and out of bottom 3 but they played brilliantly to pull back the kills when needed.

MWG COUNCIL 28-19 MWG SERFS

BATTLE FOUR:
SEARCH & DESTROY (AIRFIELD)

Well the Council was brilliant in this round and deserved to win. Unfortunately we had to lose Malfius towards the end which gave the Serfs a extra man and 2 extra lifes. This put just to much pressure on peeps to defend both points and weakened the defensive line that had worked so well. With the 1 bomb score we successfully defended the Serfs first 2 attacks and it came to the last one. We played well but they just managed to score. Very unlucky on the Council as they fully deserved this round and it would have made the final round even more interesting.

MWG COUNCIL 1-1 MWG SERFS

BATTLE FIVE:
TEAM SURVIVAL- CAT LIFES (ROUNDHOUSE)

This mode went right to the wire and for most of the game their was just a 1-2 kill lead, only in the last 30 secs did the Serfs build a sufficient lead when the Council had to assault to find kills. Eyetrip was the star for the Serfs and Boosh, Ego racked up kills to keep right on the Serfs early lead. A very close game that went right to the wire.

MWG COUNCIL 350-380 MWG SERFS

CONCLUSION
Was a very close game despite the score. I had a good laugh even though on defeated team hope others did too. Was a real good laugh and real nice to see so many new Muppets involved. Big thank you to Focuszetec for dropping for the last round it was much appreciated I hope you had fun with the game. I will setup another one in 2-3 weeks after I setup another Royal Rumble...

The next BOTM is likely to be GEARS 2 in about 2 weeks...

Thanks everybody who played in this was much fun.
Big thank you hope some of the new Muppets and Trialisits had fun. The teams were fairly even I think though we need to put weights on Hodgys heals I think...lol

Very good night guys thx... Nice game spirit focus for dropping mate I thought it was gonna be me but held my breath and boosh must of missed me hehe...

Will need to pratice more i think and i still only lvl 26 so got pretty shiteeeeee guns.

I had a really good evening - Call of Duty with mates, Match of the Day then a cracking Superbowl - best evening I've had in a while.

Great match last night, though - helped me find out my weak areas, and where I need to strengthen - plus I was trying so very hard to beat Hodgy, even though he was on my team... Can't wait for the next one!

Had a great night to be honest was not expecting to play anyway but had a good laugh, won't be able to do the next one as have not got gears 2 and money is tighter than a ducks butt! Glad I was on the winning side LOL! Will you guys online soon!

Top laugh, this. Totally fell apart on the losers are winners round despite better performance in the first two rounds. Really hate that map and just couldn't seem to catch a break.

Hats off to Boosh for his seemingly continuous one-man assault on one of the flags (B, I think) in the Domination.

I have to remember 5 or 10 sec respawns on domination it makes it more fair...
