an XGL Tournament Invitation

Your Clan has been invited to join our Clan Champions League Tournament that will be played on Call of Duty 4. This event is invitation only to ensure that we have clans that can stick to the event and to compete at a high level as the invites has been judged by your clans rep and how your clan match results have been. This event is aimed for the teams to compete at a high level for the friendly clans and gives the clans a place to compete without playing against the beast teams that can be found in the top 10 on the gamebattles ladders. anyhow here is your invitation and ill await your reply either accept or decline.

Short Description

We will begin the event with the groups stage, this stage of this event will consist of 4 groups and in each group their will be 4 clans competing. each team will play each other twice with home and away fixtures the home team will be the host of the match and the home team is the first team listed in the fixture. The fixtures will consist of two map choices along with gametype choices for each clan with the decider map and gametype chosen by the clan that is deemed the home team. The Fixture duration for the Group stages will be 2 matches every 2 weeks and the fixtures will be detailed in the groups forum area's. This event will be flexible and their is no limit to what clan members can play in this event as all clan members of the clans signed up are eligible to play in this event aslong as they are legitimate clan members and not random players braught in specifically for this event.

all information on the event is in the forum and also you will be required to signup your team in the signup area along with creating a small clan logo banner to be used on the group stages event board.
the small description above should give you a good indication on what to expect from this event the only other thing you will be needed to do is to create a team in our events system in preperation on joining the kncokout stages as they will be hosted on our tournament system. follow the links and signup your clan to the event.

ok ill look into that did you activate your account from clicking the link in the email that was sent to you? maybe its because your account isnt active.

ill look into this from today as i want the remaining 4 teams to signuyp their team then we have all places filled and the setup of the event throughout the week with the event kicking off from sunday april 5th.

ok it seemed your dangermouse13 account was awaiting email activation, i have manually added you tot he registered users groups so everything should work fine for you now, if it sends a message about u still have to activate then youll ahve to find it in your email usually would be in junk mail if you use hotmail or yahoo.

feel free to signup your clan to the event today it is very flexible as all clan members are eligible to take part rather than a set team of players.

guys can you signup by tomorrow if possible a si look to fill the remaining places by then so it gives me time to prepare the event.

This message is aimed at all participating clans, the fixtures will be up by wednesday evening and clans can make a start with organising their fixtures to be played from sunday evening.

Tournament Rules

- No glitching in any form
- Keep things clean play the game how its meant to be played
- if a player disconnects it is upto the team to send the player an invite back into the game
- if the game becomes unstable/laggy an alternate host should be chosen
- points will be deducted from the team if teams are found cheating or glitching in any form

Group Settings

Home and Away Fixtures are played in each group
The Home team is deemed the host
Win = 3pts, Loss = 0pts
Gamemodes can be selected: Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy, Domination, Sabotage and their Hardcore variants, no other gamemode to be chosen.
Fixtures are selected by the Tournament admin so home and away matches are not played after one another.

Fixture Settings

The Home team is the host of the fixture
Team Size: 4v4
The Home Team must have a stable connection for the host
A lagg test must be done before every match: lagg test for 2 minutes
Each fixture will be the best of 5 maps
2 maps chosen by each clan
gametypes are selected along with map choices
Decider map and gametype chosen by the Home team.
