NSD VS MWG Group match

Im a bit of a noob when it comes to recording matches. There are one of two ways we do it. The first is as Mackem said using a pc. Penguin in my clan literally just set his up last week so you would be best asking him.

The second is use an HD camcorder. Here is a example of a game recorded using a camera:

has anyone tried connecting HDMI and normal video output cable to the xbox? Just wondered if it sent an output to both.

Then you could plug one in a laptop with capture card without disturbing you nice shiney Plasma TV.

Doubt it would output to both though as it over heats as it is!!

only thing I worry about is I use vga monitor...

ok I will look into this and then see if people here can plump up a wee cash to buy one as I am little broke at moment. If everybody plumped a few quid then should ahve enough. Dont think they arwe too expensive but missus kill me if I bought one of these as I am saving for my holiday in May.

I will keep hold of it but will use post to give to other people if they ever wanna record a clan match. And if I leave clan will give to another Council member. I'm honest person (honest wink)...

See, I want to get video evidence of Lemony Team-Killing. Have him walk on with the Hitchcock music playing in the background, followed by throwing a grenade at someone's face, followed by running away. I think that would make interesting viewing...

Problem with it though is you just get the video of the person filming, now sure how it works on COD but on GOW would be better to get video of somebody who dies early as they can select cameras to watch and record. If you get mine you get somebody camping with a sniper!!

Halo is probably only game that records whole game from everyones perspective.

Yeah, you can record it and go back - problem is I'm still not sure as to any site that offers a service where you can take your videos off Halo 3 and put them as a video format on the computer. You can also record and save video segments on FIFA 09 too, but its crap.

Edit: Right I've found a site - http://www.eathalo.com/index.aspx - what this does, is allow you to choose which video you want converting into normal format by selecting its file share slot. Once thats done, you go to the "Checkout" where you pay $0.99 + to get it converted. HOWEVER, they give you one free conversion by using your Gamertag as a voucher code. Therefore, if you want to make a few Halo 3 Video's and people don't mind uploading them to their fileshare(especially if they barely play it) we could probably get a few free conversions out of it for clan purposes for free. I'm used my code to check quality and will post back here once its done.

Yeah, that needs cables draped everywhere and for someone who's PC and 360 are in two separate locations(like me) would probably involve tripping over wires.
There was a site called GeeVee, where I got one of mine sorted a while ago (my best kill EVER), but the site decided to stop the service and opted to run as a Gaming YouTube instead.

Well, my test video's come through now, just downloading it now. The online preview looks better(as its HD) than my TV view. The only problem so far is I don't think this video had the camera view saved properly, as its just staring at the same spot (which starts from just behind my shoulder). I'll YouTube-ify it in a second so y'all can see...

By the way I THINK it was meant to be a Video of my and my brother smashing them two Elephants together and flipping one over. Instead its about 1 minute of Sand and 5 Seconds of Shooting and lagging vehicles.
