Re: Where did your gamer tag come from??
my gamertag came from an online avatar that I used for over 9 years primarily to get a rise out of people - Iz-or-po is one of the many names of Lilith - biblically she was the first wife of Adam and because he won't allow her to be on top during sex she told him to bugger off and then proceeded to torment him for the rest of his life - for my agenda this name worked very well. I use to use it on a forum called Discordia - where I was often banned for being too discordian - fortunately the evil cupid was a moderator and kept unbanning me - this was the forum where I met my husband - the evil cupid was best mates with The Hubb.
One example of Izorpo while in Discordia is that when I found out the girls on the forum hated me (couldn't help it that I was cute back then) and kept banning me - I joined as my x - completely trashed myself - got unbanned by my friend and wrote major vitrolic arguments between the two of us whilst flirting with the girls that hated me while pretending to be my x.
Izorpo however has become more than simply an online avatar or gamertag - my more political art and in your face work is attributed to her - hence she is also my website - she is my darker side - she is my extreme side - my take no prisoner side - she's the one standing above a big pot stirring with an even bigger spoon cackling away as she does it - she is naughty and mischievious - she's the little demon whispering in my ear telling me to do it even though I know I shouldn't.
I ended up using it instead of Isome (as in is so me) because when I first got the 360 I used Isome and I couldn't open a live account with it - so instead of going through numerous names I just chose Izorpo.
Isome was another avatar I used on the Discordian forum (I was using about 20 at one time) - she was a teenage Japanese pop star that sang songs about cats - she was the hardest to write for as I had to pretend she didn't speak English very well
here's an example of Isome speak when writing about Tony Blair
I watch Fact's of Life Blair Fact's of LIfe very big in Japan
There also sexually confused music band Blair They did Woo-Who song i like songs that why I sing songs
Isome Mojosake
The kicker was when I wrote to the artist I worked with on my experiential learning module it was from the Isome email - so being the fucker he is he passed my name onto the ICA as Isome Mojosake - they wrote to me wanting Isome to speak at some meeting at the Bluecoat - as I am neither a teen nor Japanese this was problematic - it was somewhat embarrassing to have to explain to both the artist and the guy at the ICA - oddly enough both thought my endeavors were artistic
