I hope you enjoy it mate. Hands of Summer Glau though. She's mine.

To be honest I am not that taken with Summer Glau, much prefer Jewel Staite in this.

Re: Dollhouse
I did, to be honest, but then I watched the Sarah Connor Chronicles, and gave in.
Kaylee is a great character. One thing I liked about Firefly was that everyone had some good lines, and could make you laugh. It wasn't all centered around one character.
Jayne is fantastic though. Gotta love him.

I am glad I saw serenity first as if I had seen Firefly first I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did probably

Re: Dollhouse
I think that I would have enjoyed slowly piecing together what happened to River would have interested me over the course of the series.
I'm hoping that we get that with Dollhouse.

Re: Dollhouse
I just finished watching Firefly and loved it all, I still love the film though and watched that the first week it came out on dvd due to such good reviews of the series from friends. But their are holes in the movie after watching the series especially as Simon is told what happened to River in the beginning of the movie and doesn't know what they did to her through the whole series? But still I enjoyed it and think Jane is a classic character!
I have just watched series 1 and 2 of "chuck" and Mr Baldwin is in that as pretty much the same sort of character but as an NSA agent and it's pretty funny. I did enjoy the Scott Bakula cameo's in the second series especially when he said "Oh Boy" at the end of an episode :D
Might have to give Dollhouse a look although I've never been a fan of Elliza Dushku (although I met her once :D) I have like some if not all of Joss's work so it could be good. Alien Resurrection was hilarious :D

Re: Dollhouse
I wonder if all the personality doners are dead? And what happens to to people like Echo when they are no longer useful?
Also, I bet she didn't know exactly what she was signing up for.
There's a ton of questions, which hopefully will develop answers over time.
And of course the end of series chocolate sauce paddling pool bikini fight.

Re: Dollhouse
Haven't seen 2nd series of Chuck yet, but Baldwin is good in that too.
You met Eliza? Damn you.
Alien Resurection was poo, and so was the Buffy movie, to be fair!

Re: Dollhouse
Yeah thats gonna be an awesome ending. I can't imagine them being the sort of people that will release their operatives when they no longer have a use for them. would be a risk of too many questions being asked.
You met Eliza? you lucky git, I would give my right arm for that

Re: Dollhouse
The second series of Chuck is a load better than the first and has some decent twists to keep it fresh. The main chick in that is uber hot too :D
I met Dushku at some silly comic event thing I got dragged to by a friend of mine and after exchanging some polite words asking if she'd had a stressfull day and if she enjoyed attending those sorts of things, and feeling as though I probably looked like one of the cooler people she would meet that day my friend blurted out "You fancy coming round to a house party were going to later! It would be really cool if you came"
And then we look like stalkers! In fact we should have just waited outside and gotten ready to shout suprise

Re: Dollhouse
She was actually really nice. My friend had previously met Sarah Michelle Geller and said that Eliza was so much nicer and more gratefull of the time her fans take to come and talk to her. :D
So yeah she's nice in real life, which probably makes it worse you haven't met her

I think your line of questioning was quite good, Itchi. Your friend was smoother than my approach would have been.

Damn you, I was hoping she would be a bitch so I could be happy not meeting her and keeping my fantasies of her being the perfect woman intact. Now I know that meeting her wouldn't shatter my illusions I am really jealous

Re: Dollhouse
Recorded Dollhouse last night, waited for the missus to get home to watch it, although I made her wait till i finished the campaign of world at war on normal (veteran level is gonna suck) and after all this waiting she fell asleep by the first break so I never got to see it and will probably have to wait till thursday night now

Re: Dollhouse
I was on Gears last night, so I missed it to. Thanks to the miracle of Sky+, I shall try and watch it tonight.
The write up made me wonder if you'd booked her already though!
Something like "Echo is hired for a camping trip that turns out to be less innocent than it initially appears".

Good luck with that. Never followed football, so don't much care who wins.
I'll not post any Dollhouse spoilers though.
