This did inspire me on Friday.
I got an e-mail from this woman they've hired in Singapore to be my supervisor (never met her, and long story). She allocated some work to me on Thursday, and on Friday e-mailed to say "I notice you have lots of other work. Would you like to retain this issue, or should I allocated it to someone else?".
I e-mailed back and said "The middle one".

She still hasn't replied.

Funnt this thread came up again. I've had two e-mails from that woman today, and she still hasn't made reference to that reply of mine.
I rejected her meeting invite for a teleconference catch-up session, scheduled for Monday morning, so she e-mailed back. She has explained that we are all part of the same team, and even though we are in different time zones it is still important that we maintain awareness of what each other person is doing at all times.
I wrote back, and explained that I agree with her 100%, so can she tell everyone that I'm on holiday Monday, or would she like me to send e-mail updates of how my week off is progressing?

No reply.
