I do feel sorry for anyone who paid over the odds for tickets though.

On a serious note, I do feel sorry for his life - but not his death. He was obviously mentally broken and totally removed from reality, I almost understand his fascination with kids... not condoning it of course but probably found it impossible to relate to adults.... oh well, was never a fan.... Prince all the way in that particular battle.

i wasnt a big fan and id be surprised if anyone didnt see him as "a little bit off" but the man was music and in his lucid periods did somethign he was very good at. for some reason i like the song scream... it might jsut be the freaky vid but still gotta like it

is a shame, was a great singer but lost the plot sometime ago - what really angered me was the camparison this morning of his death to princess di's, the fuckin cheek of it!!

I'm more annoyed that the beauty that was Farrah Fawcet has only got a tiny write-up because her very sad story is being over-shadowed.

A similar thing happened when Di kicked the bucket, Mother theresa died the same week and got a tiny write up hidden away in the middle of the papers because none of them dared take Di of the front covers annoyed the fucking piss out of me!

One observation:

For all the fact it may be quite soon for the Jacko jokes (it's never too soon for humour in my opinion but then that's just how I deal with deaths close to me as well as media high-lighted ones) to be positively flooding out it was always expected.......not one about Farrah.

Make of that what you will.......

All the media attention MJ is getting and the so called fans in the street sobbing their hearts out is just mind boggling, i mean why???

yeah he made some good songs that most of us liked when we were younger, but after Bad came out, no one paid him any attention until the court cases were televised.

Feel sorry for the kids losing a parent. They had no real life, hidden away behind masks and from the real world - so whats in store for them now?

The only one ''celebrity' death that ever had an affect on me was George Harrison....think it was the manner of his death and the fact was the same month as my Dad,,, was probably still a bit raw.

I didnt rate Jackson as an artist really... was ok when I was 14 but his music dosent speak to me on any level whatsoever....

Its a shame when anyone dies I guess,,, in an abstract manner at least... i personally will not miss jacko at all.

Its all a little much so ignoring it.

Its sad and mostly sad coz he had a VERY VERY fucked up life.
I feel sorry for him coz he should have had a proper childhood and I HATE parents who take away a childs early life so they can further their childs ambitions which are trully the parents ambitions.

I wouldn't have let my kids stay at one of his sleepovers but i dont think he did it because the parents settled out of court if i remember right and if anyone fiddled with one of my kids i wouldnt care how much money they offered me to go away i would want them sent down and the world to know what they did.

First off, I was not a fan of MJ though some of his songs I really liked and some I downright hated. I never thought he was a particularly good singer. However, he was a phenomenal dancer. I think MJ was as damaged and flawed as he was a talented dancer. He was not a child molester. He *was* a child trapped in a man's body. I believe that all the allegations made against him were by typical trailer trash looking for a fast buck. I also think that, for some reason that we will never understand, he had himself mutilated. It sickens me that nobody apparently ever tried to help him understand what he was trying to accomplish, and that there were too many "doctors" willing to oblidge him. At the end of the day, it is those money-grubbers who killed him. MJ is now at peace away from the tabloid vultures and their ilk who have no other life than to prey on others for the sake of "entertainment". And yes, I would let my children stay at Neverland.
