Hey guys,
Just wondered if you fancy a friendly against the Dogs of War on CoD:WaW? How about 6v6 - 23rd or 26th July at 9pm?

2 x Hardcore Search and Destroy
2 x Hardcore Team Deathmatch
Decider: Capture the Flag

All this Core in tournaments recently is making me want some Hardcore mode action so hope this works for you?

i know alot of the lads dont like hardcore unless its porn :lol!:mostly play core, but yeah im sure we could rustle up a team.

Dont mind hardcore against friendly clans.... those that play with the right spirit... hate hardcore in public lobbies. Mainly because of the lack of kill cam, makes it harder to spot cheaters. Also not keen that it nullifies the rifles to a degree. There also seems to be an over reliance on Juggernaut and second chance perks.

Not sure if ill play this one as Im not a fan of S&D and I think Im away that week anyway but am very sure we'll be able to put a team together.

23rd is a Thursday so its our normal muppet thumping thurday night, we also have a left for dead race that night.
Sunday 26th looks better but the late kick off may deter a few sign ups.

Ill post a sign up thread for the 26th at 9pm and see who bites.

Ok mate, if the dates don't work or you want to mix in some core and hardcore, that's cool... I don't think I've had the pleasure of playing MWG before so looking forward to it ;)

Sign up is posted now, will get back to you via this thread as soon as we've got a team. Shouldnt take to long as we've got quite a large player base and we've left it open to Muppet Babies (trialists).

Will probably be quite a mixed bag as far as skills are concerned, but we play for fun so as long as its not too serious then it should be a giggle mate.

It wont be too serious at all mate - should be a laugh. I'll try to put out a couple of our new recruits so it evens things up a bit. When you know what sort of skill level you've got, lemme know and I'll try to field a similar sort of team.

I hate Hardcore as it makes submachine guns deadly and makes rifles quite pointless (I use them). Also killcam off is pants as it encourages overcamping.
Everybody camps (Im a sniper) but I usually get few kills and move and if I dont and am kileld coz somebody used killcam and got revenge then fair be it, I deserved it (imo).

Sorry sound quite strongly about this but CODw doesnt work with hardcore, COD4 is fine as weapons are not badly balanced.
So could do 2 core & 2 hardcore and a final round of knifes only (always fun) but can we have killcam on always even on hardcore as it cuts out any chances of cheatin/glitching/spawn camping/ over camping a spot.

But sounds like you guys play for fun which is how we play.

OK mate, no worries... How about 2x core TDM and 2x Hardcore S&D? Hardcore Pistols and Knives only decider on Dome?
I'm pretty offended that you think we'd be "cheatin/glitching/spawn camping/ over camping a spot" but sure, if you want the kill cam on, then that's fine by me. ;)

Weapons balance is not too bad, but it does do my head in being sniped by a Thomson from the other end of the map every now and again!! We all tend to roll with rifles on the big maps anyway and SMGs on the little ones.

So let me know if that all works for you and what sort of level of competitiveness you want and I'll sort it out from our end. I have asked our guys to put their name down if they haven't had a match in a while and have 2 triallists that would like to play but if you want a more competitve team then I can do that too...

we will put out 4 codw players and 2 codw clan match newbies as well...

Good stuff. I'm putting out 2 guys from our team, 2 that don't play much and our 2 new guys. Like you say, we're playing this just for shits and giggles so it should be good fun.
