Legend of the Seeker
Has anyone else been watching this on Sci-Fi?
It's a Sam Raimi / Rob Tapert co-production so if you liked Xena and Hercules series then you will probably like this fantasy series as well It also has loads of the actors from those two series in it and its filmed in New Zealand so gorgeous scenery.
I've been enjoying it - but then I'm a geek

Re: Legend of the Seeker
I wasn't interested in this, so haven't watched it, but then my missus mentioned the Sam Raimi connection last night, so now I'm hoping they're still on the sky+

Re: Legend of the Seeker
I only saw this was on when a couple of episodes has already bee on.
Bit gutted really as I read the books and really enjoyed them so was hoping it could capture some of the slightly grim humour as well.......not giving too much away when I mention the love affair between the little old man who likes standing on rocks naked and the one-legged witch

Re: Legend of the Seeker
it's Raimi and as I mentioned I watched all of Xena and Hercules serious -own them on dvd as well.
my guess is that the series will start out a bit more serious and then descend into the usual humour that both Xena and Hercules did.
and chances are (fingers crossed) old Bruce will make an appearance as well...and speaking of Bruce this airs on sci-fi in Sept. I can't wait

Legend of the seeker is pretty good, I have seen the whole series at work (during my lunch break of course) as one of the lads downloaded it and brought it in

Re: Legend of the Seeker
I've been watching this and its pretty good so far, tend to watch the repeats on Saturday morning.
I've also read all the books by Terry Goodkind and heard that he requested they change the name of the programme, due to the fact they weren't even keeping remotely to the books most of the time.
