Old man needs help.
Ok here it is. As an awld bastid I'm totally useless with new music. I have an ecclectic taste but no idea what/who most of these new bands are. So I'm after some advice from you rabble. Something different would be great.
Some of the music I like:
Foo Fighters
Metallica
Linkin Park
Iron Maiden
Kings of Leon
Snow Patrol
Paramore
Lost Prophets
Sting/The Police
etc etc etc
So any ideas you got would be great!!!
cheers peeps

God Thunder and Almighty,,,, they bring back memories..... Thunder are still playing,,,, seen em both loads of times!
Re: Old man needs help.
definitely Interpol and The Editors also Muse maybe
metal Napalm Death and maybe his dub stuff under the name Scorn
I could suggest Bad Brains - although their later stuff rather than earlier releases maybe more appealing - maybe even Fishbone
if you were interested in expanding your current musical taste - could give loads of things to fill your ipod

Re: Old man needs help.
If you got metallica's stuff, you don't need anyone else
A band called 'tool' have a similar metallica sound.
You might have missed them first time round, but used to love therapy?. Dream theatre are good for ballady musical songs.
Just play brutal legend and hear the legends at work (wot no meatloaf? )
