5 Rounds is fine by me but I've been in 2 matches now where they have lasted over an hour. Maybe try the first one and see how it goes, is 4 not an option...?

Also camping in a game like Gears 2 is fine it happens and I dont blame any team who have 1 guy against 5 who does that and hides. Its just when a clan lose 1 maybe 2 members and then grenade an area and camp in that place and have time limit at 4 minutes so you cant attack in time. This happens on a lot of "1 big weapon" maps if tehy dont get weapon they roll back and run clock down.

So I would also like 6 min round times. I think in our last game 6 mins worked a treat. Stops stalemates but also not to long if only 1 left and he is on the run...

Spoke to Bennett last night and he can not make it, not sure about Webby. Will try and send him a message if he don't see this.

I am sure we will find one more before then.

We usually run with 6 so if you want 6 thats fine. If the entire match lasts an hour are you saying that is an issue? Our last matches have been in the area of 45 mins - 1.5 hours from beginning to end.

Im not saying our 1 guy in that instance would fight direct lol, it would probably turn into hit and run/sneaky git kills. We are not approaching this from a serious serious must win at all costs and so if we lose a guy we aint gonna hide in a corner lol and besides friendly fire is always fun as can set your own teams tags off anyway.

To be fair 1 person camping doesnt usually work unless they find a hell of a hiding place lol.

Dont worry mate you seem like a good lot and I'm sure after clan match our relations will build and we'll have more.

Just explaining some past circumstances and issues we have had. Nothing major though (TBH) but after each game I always like to sort of look at what didnt work and what didnt seem fair and change for future clan matches...

But both our clans seem to enjoy the samething, having a laugh mixed with a bit of tension.
TBH we dont care if we win or lose (nice to win every now and then) but I just like games to be as fair as possible.

Hope this goes ahead I think we should have a team as I will drag myself on Gears 2 if we are short anyway.

Our last match when the other team went three maps down, they actually didnt even come out of spawn and just grenaded everywhere on Pavillion lol.

There are some funny folk about.

Yeah we are in it for the fun of the match, everyone likes to win but its more about a good game for us.

Oh and also, if we have a disconnect on either side for whatever reason - we usually have a ceasefire the next round until the player reconnects then resume hostilities (very rarely happens but dog clan had one guy who couldnt connect to their own host properly), however if you wanna just use the "carry on" rule as long as we know, we are good with that too

If on your host we could have a minute after each map for our resident photographer to snap the results that would be grand too, its only the rounds won as we like to show we are active by posting results, having a full calendar etc

Good idea.

Thats something I'd like to look into in future maybe snapping results also love to record a clan match game. Maybe look into it later on looks rather complex.

We only use the Y button to view last match and take a digital pic of the screen tis all.

The drop rules just means that occassionally on bad connects you lose a round as both stay near spawn until whichever team it is has their five men back together. Saying that its only happened twice in last two months.

We are quite easy going and would rather wait five mins and for the other side to be fairly treated etc

We have multiple teams too so if you ever wanted to do more matches, we can ensure you get different players. Do you play COD 5 matches too?

Drop rule is good idea, we've not had it yet. Had the no gun issue on GOW2 a few times but our guy just ran around as decoy which was funny to watch. Good thing in private match is he will have come back in few mins. Will refrain from tagging the hell out of your spawn door then!!

If its mid round then its more difficult to do but like that idea.

Mid round isnt to difficult, because you should see me drop in the left corner, if thats the case cease fire and retreat to spawn

No gun issue otherwise known as Demonza issue in our clan, we just let it run and he acts as a decoy etc.

Drops rarely happen, its just in case, saves mid game wrangling if we both know up front what the plan is :D

As for maps, we haven't even discussed it yet so will be playing it by ear if thats ok. Its not a strategy thing, just only decided on team and we try to let everyone have their say. More than likely Ruins as we like it, and another which we will guess at later.

Good game fellas really enjoyed that though avalanche was a shocker for us lol and i don't have a clue on that ruins map was like a bloody maze!

was gutted in the last round when i got torqued from the opposite house on river! thought i was hidin nicey away and then boom! down like a slag on a first date!

really good games ,and nice bunch to play against, well done to all players concerned.

we must have a rematch, next couple of weeks as that was mucho fun, and very very close !
