Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Maxxxine

Well, not quite, but I thought I could at least introduce myself. My
name is Maxine and I play (possibly) too much Xbox. I decided to register
here after a recommendation by Rebulous. Just thought I'd drop by and
say hello. Maybe people could tell me how this all works, but I'm
looking just to have a bit of fun really! I play the usual FPS games
and I'm loving L4D at the moment! Really enjoy co-op gaming. Would prefer people around my age (25), but I'm cool with whatever!

Got Modern Warfare 2 Prestige edition on the pre-order as well! I really can't wait!

And if anyone here gets the reference in my subject title, then I'm sure we'll get along.

Only fairly new to clan myself, and there are a lot of guys and girls on here. No pressure to play if you don't want to, but there is always someone online if you want to join in on any games you have! Just send a invite and friends request to other members and you will be sniping there heads in no time!

Always some good nights and little tourneys lined up! And it's refreshing to not get verbal abuse from some little toe-rag on Live.
Everyone will probably still take the piss out of you mind, but in a friendly way!

Feel free to add myself as a friend, and I'm always up for a bit of COD4, Gears 2, Battlefield 1943, Street Fighter IV, Halo 3!
Post what games you have on the related thread on site, and you will be in a few comps and good nights before you know it!

Go easy on me though! Only learning on Gears 2, and not that skilled on the rest but up for a laugh!

I could maybe use the NVGs for airsofting. Maybe. I think I may be more excited about the NVGs than the actual game. Is that bad?

Thats the main reason I was gonna go for the Prestige Edition for! But for me - I don't go Airsofting much any more - and most of the games that the local guy runs are day games, so Night Vision is pointless. However they're pretty cool to have anyways... Night Games were cool though - although at times somewhat scary (eg. When a bat flies out of a biulding at you, or when a rat crawls over your boot when hiding prone on the floor...).

True. They have that tunnel site at UCAP though, which is supposed to be pretty intense and pitch black when they shut off the lights. I've only ever been airsofting once, but the guy who organised it is trying to set up a team. A few of us have shown interest, but no one has actually bought any gear yet! It's so expensive!

Tell me about it - part the reason I stopped playing was that the guns cost (at the time) £150 quid, for a decent one.. Now I think you need to get them registered, have to play very regularly and get it verified etc for each gun. Add onto that Fees for Camo, Servicing Kits, BBs, Gas, Weapon Upgrades (like Torches and Stuff) - it all builds up.

I spent way too much money on Airsoft though - got everything but an assault rifle - one of these days I'll pick it back up though.

I think you have to play three times within a certain amount of time to get a licence. You can then buy a rifle (one that isn't two-tone). Without the licence you can only buy a two-tone gun. I might go for the two-tone option and then when I'm all good to go, just spray paint it a normal colour. Shame it's such an expensive hobby!
