I'm down to write one aswell I think so we'll try and keep track together. Probably play a couple of rounds then have a rotation or something. Keep everyone playing in private so people can jump in and out and aren't just sat around doing nothing.

well the beautiful Behinana does our match reports for COD4 and they are so detailed and so easy to read...this is my first so i'm going for a shakespearian type report that could be entered for a booker prize...start big is my motto...i will copy and paste my report to you guys in this forum for your approval as well

Best person to write them is the guy in death lobby!! Reports are always short if your good as your busy killing!!

You can rotate whenever you feel like it fella, just see who wants to play when. If your still playing when KOW match is over I'll jump back across.

So as the monumental battle commenced began we started our relentless march into the pits and fires of Hades, this was no routine clan meeting, this was a fight for honour and pride, a mad melee that would leave one clan army bloody and devestated on the field of battle.
We were graciously offered first choice of battlefield and we chose 'Day one'
Oh how the Gods wept in vain, how Zeus must have feared as the armies clashed with such force that the earth beneath our feet came close to opening up and revealing her heart and soul. The first round ended with a 5-2 defeat but mention must be made to Knightw1ng for his valient stance when in a torrid 1 vs 1 situation during one round. Special note also for Mr Tetra for his use of mortars during the 5th round. Although we lost the first round we did draw the opening game as each army battled to find an opening with continious probing. Two of the rounds we actually achieved a 5-0 rout which brought enourmous pride.

The mighty tide of battle swept over us like the ocean of geonocide, polaris herself could not bring forth such destruction as what was witnessed, the dead lay silent their bodies softly outlined by the dust of battle, blood ran through the streets as claret runs through a noble kings goblet, valiently we fought on, reluctant to cede to our foe, we held on when there was so little inside our souls except that voice of our innerchild crying for us to never retreat. Tired, scared and close to reaching the point that all good men fear yet still we pressed on. Map 2 was a MWG option and they chose 'Security'. This resulted in a very impressive 5-2 victory to MgC. Fury and Tetra were outstanding in this with numerous flanking manouvers which left the MWG on the back foot.Reputations of the MWG were shattered on the shields of battle, shards of pride were left on the severed limbs of our opponents. This was no victory this was annihalation.
Man of the round goes to Mr Tetra, especially for his suicidal tactics which brought forward victory


"Onward for your Queen and country and the honour of your clan, let us not look back on this day with sorrow and regret, let us not bow to our children with tears of shame...onward you soldiers of glory" led the battle cry as unmovable object met the unstoppable force, one had to yield, one had to give, one had to fall...and on to the deciding round.
Map 3 was decided by both teams, 'Ruins' was chosen and the battle swept back and forth. Unfortunatly this resulted in a 5-4 defeat. Valiant efforts by EVERYONE in the final map was not enough, special mention to Fury who held off all MWG soldiers by running away and holding for a draw. We realised that defeat would taste more poisoned that even the most potent of snake venom but we couldnt find that final push for victory.
Man of the round was Fury for his uncountable kill ratio

Man of the match has to go to both Fury and Mr tera as they can not be seperated by the blood and sweat they sacrificed

So Defeat was conceaded, pride was pricked by the thorn of devestation, honour lay on the floor of hell, battered and bruised but still the pulse beated faintly...there was still signs of life for further battles...but do we live to fight another day? Who will answer the rallying cry for MgC? do we walk on towards future conflicts? Do we stand alone?

It makes me want to run out and buy the game, but unfortunately i have to save my pennys for my pre-orders

An excellent write up, which unfortunately misses out my amazing performance and regular slaughtering of your team.
This tells me 2 things:
1 - It never happened
2 - You didn't recieve my cheque in time.

Nice write up Hugh, Will get mine done on my lunch break as missus was hogging the laptop last night.

Pleasure gaming with MgC and we'll definately look at setting up another.

For gamers new to gears there were some very strong basic tcatics noticed so well played. Focused lancer fire from 3 mgc was letal on ruins and difficult to get around. And we won't even go onto me storming one guy on sercurity to find 5.
