I think next time there will be more ppl involved.... more organisation as here there were bound to be teething issues (fyi... great job boys 4 this one... enjoying it so much) so I think the natural step is either 8 team leagues or 4 in a team and then 6 and keep the format

Yup gobstoppers finally put in a good perfprmance and beat the League winners 3-1... unfortunately for us it didnt change anything as the kit kats won their last match knocking us out... but we're still poud to have beat the league winners and had fun in all the games.

Dunkin' Donuts 2.5 v 3.5 Curly Wurlys

Round 1
Donuts 170 v 170 Curlys (TIE!)
In a very close game, the Donuts managed a draw however the game was overshadowed by the use of Streaks (my bad, forgot to turn them off) namely an Airstrike, a Chooper and a fair few UAVs. However, there was no ill feelings in the lobby and both teams were happy with a draw...

Round 2
Donuts 230 v 220 Curlys
In a very close match, the Donuts managed to scrape a win on the last HQ... With 17 seconds to go, they captured the last HQ and held it until the clock ran out bringing them just into the lead by 10 points. Well fought on both sides and it could have gone either way.

Round 3
Donus 180 v 200 Curlys
Again, a hard fought match which was very manic. With Uzi's only there's only so much you can do to prevent captures and so on. As a result the various points switched sides quite often. However it was the Curly's this time who held the most possession and won the round...

Round 4
Donuts 490 v 410 Curlys
This round was again so close and the scored doesn't do it justice. Good pressure play from both sides was enacted, but it was the Donuts who held firm guarding their various spawn zones well against a resilient Curly Wurly side.

Round 5
Donuts 200 v 230 Curlys
Another VERY close affair that resulted in a Curly Wurly victory. Donuts had a good start, but the Wurly's came back strong and kept pressuring and pressuring until there was no time left and no-one to shoot but poor Woolfy. A strong performance by the Curlies, there..

TIEBREAKER

Round 6 - Repeat of Round 1
Donus 180 v 230 Curly Wurlys
After consulting the mighty Oracle, Boosh, a vote was taken and we re-did the first round with everything set up properly. This time, it was the Curly Wurlys that came out on top, as they performed much better. They stuck together well and managed to disrupt the Donuts enough to gain victory...

3-2 win to the Gobstoppers... meltdown subbed for Villager.

Round 1 HC TDM PIPELINE
190 - 140 Angel Delights Win.
Most of the match spent fighting in the tunnels. Angels took the lead and kept it.

Round 2 HQ CRASH
250 - 110 Gobstoppers Win
Ego spent his time camping the choke points to allow time for his teammates to capture HQ after HQ. Had a healthy lead throughout although the Angels did mount a valiant comback towards the end. Too late though.

Round 3 DOMINATION CHINA TOWN
200 - 170 Gobstoppers Win
Gobs immediately took A & B and then kept probing C. Angels spent the early part of the round just trying to get out of C and trying to take B. Gobs picked up a good lead when they held all three flags for a while. Angels did manage to take B eventually but the Gobs lead wasnt affected much as they took A & C... Ego got a nice C4 kill on webby at C and allthough Angels did manage to grab all three flags late on to make the score more respectable it was never likely to overturn the lead,

Round 4. TDM AMBUSH
200 - 150 Angel Delights Win
The straight up TDM's seemed to suit the angels as man for man they were just simply outkilling the Gobstoppers. With a minute to go Gobstoppers had pulled back the deficit to 2 kills. The gobs went in hard to try and win the fixture there and then but were gunned down in a blaze of glory and extending the angels win margin.

Round 5 TDM Old School
230 - 160 Gobstoppers Win
Well the decider was a TDM so gobstoppers were a bit nervous. First minute of the match The angels ran round the back of gobstoppers, right passed Ego who unloaded his super powered skorpion into the backs of the angels,,, spraying like a good un!.. No affect,,, egos down and angels take the lead, which they held untill 3 mins from the end. meltdown picked up an AK and Juggernoaught and went on the rampage. Ego picked up an RPD an killed the angels as they ran out of their respawn area. Gobstoppers took the lead and went defensive,,, now that the angels had to push for the win they were running out commando style and gunned down regularly.

Was a very tough match... Gobstoppers seemed to handle the objective based stuff well and the angels were well on top in the TDM.... that last deciding one was tense and really close and could easily have gone the other way.

Knockout Round - Banana Splits Vs Kit Kat Chunky's

Round 1 - HCTDM on Pipeline

Well the Kit Kats did their usual of running into the tunnels and sitting off, put claymores down at all the entrances and sat of at one end the entire match. There was no movement from the Splits for about 7 minutes, then they rushed the tunnels, but the Kit Kats managed to defend from the attack. In fact i was prepared to sit off in there the entire match without moving, i'd have settled with a 0-0 draw lol At about 15 seconds left we were all booted from the lobby, hodgy's connection decided to die , but since it was so close to the end we decided to keep the scores.

(though someone in the lobby said 80 - 40, but the last time i saw it before we all got dropped was at 70 - 30)

Round 2 - HQ Shotty's on crash

Since hodgy's connection was now playing up I decided to take over hosting.
Kit Kats were dreading this round as none of us can use shotguns at all lol, there wasn't much hope for us, except a tiiiiny glimmer when hodgy said he wasn't very good with a shotgun...*cough* liar! haha. We pretty much just ran around like headless chickens, trying our best to get the HQ's that popped up, but alas, we were met with a shotgun shell to the face. As the game was counting down from a minute and the Splits had caught their final HQ, us Kit Kats gave up and decided to blow up some cars, which was mint

Round 3 - Uzi and Knife Domination on Chinatown

From this match onwards hodgy was having a lot of problems and kept disconnecting.
As usual we had one person capture the spawn flag and the others rushed b. We managed to keep b for a while, but not enough to secure a decent lead. B kept swapping between the two teams, but towards the end Splits managed to keep hold of it and it became very hard to get it as one person was camped in the damn bushes so we couldnt see lol, and hodgy kept spawning real close to us. We rushed A a few times and managed to capture it for maybe 20 seconds, and the Splits did the same with C, thought at the very end we were being 'dominated' A really close round.

Round 4 - CDM on Ambush

Kit Kats decided it would be best to put a few claymores down the middle and sides of our spawn and stay to the back of the map. There was no movement for maybe 3 minutes, they slowly but surely the Splits were heading for us, and eventually we couldnt get away from them. Towards the end of the match we decided it would be best to sit off in the tunnels as we had maybe a 1 or 2 kill lead, but that didnt last long and we ended up getting annihalated.

We played the 5th round for the hell of it, we already decided the Splits had won, but if it needs to be counted then here it is:

Round 5 - Skorpion TDM on Strike

All i remember of this round is that is was a bloody nightmare, Kit Kats tried sitting off in the little sniper building and in the flower shop, but we got absolutely screwed. Ozzy was the first of the kit kats to lose their lives, I was second and poor ol' hugh was the last man on our team standing. By the end the only Split to be out of it was hodgy.

boosh, camping is probably best against those lot! lol. hodgy goes mental when its something like HQ or dom. im suprised it was as close as it was! we were only 27 points off winning dom and 3 kills of one of the TDM's.

Kit Kats are a good team, you play well together and for each other. Plus you always seem to have a plan and that goes a long way...

yes boosh the camping works for a little while but when my team know whats happening you get broken up one by one and hav to rethink ya tactics

i dunno mate on the first map the tactics worked a blinder and bearing in mind this was the first match in ages that we hadnt discussed tactics before the match....still would have lost but i think we'd have been better organised
