Was a pleasure as always, chaps!
Nearly throw the first one away for you by getting fixated on killing Magoo, until good sense, and a gentle proding from Hughes, won out!

Re: RESULTS STORED HERE:
Well done to the Hodgster's team for taking it so well, especially after they lost hodgy in the domination round for a bit.
We affored to restart and they very generously said it wouldn't have made much of a difference as he'd only gone for about 30 seconds and we'd built up quite a lead by then....thanks Splits
The LMG round was a bit of a wake-up call though.
Cheers to Frag again for jumping in at the last minute, well done chappy chap
Looks like we're on target for the bonus 10 point and LAM tea-bagging sesh
P.S. I'd love to post up our super-secret tactics on how we did it so everyone can learn from our undoubted skill but......we didn't really have any and just ran around like headless chickens again

You'll have "special" tickets that entitle you to as much free popcorn as you want and one free drink but only from the house selection....none of that fancy stuff or you have to pay.

That sounds most generous. I won't even attempt to photocopy the voucher, and may give a generous tip.

The plan is to actually win the next one and we should be through....although we'll be through anyway with the extra 10 point bonus by getting four draws will still see us through.....

Team Tactical Round 4
Curly Wurlys
Me1tdown101
TehBluebear
Dark Therapy (subbing for Mr RussianHare)
Iced Gems
Jaffacake
Darko
Sammiad
Game One: HTD on Pipeline
C.W's 290 - 280 I.G's (1-0), MVP Darko (102 pts)
The game started on my personally favourite map, and throughout it was a tense affair, with the Iced Gems asserting control and leaving the Curly Wurlys to chase them. It was tit for tat all the way through until the end, the Curly's thought they had lost it with about two mins to go with the Iced Gems taking a 4 kill lead but literally at the death two kills by D.T. and Bluebear gave the Curly Wurly's a steal of a win. I gave Darko an MVP based on score (2 better than both Bluebear and D.T.
Game Two: Domination on Showdown
C.W's 200 - 105 I.G's (2-0), MVP- Therapy (A mighty 26 kills)
This was a map that on domination had B flag right in the middle, a easy assumption that it was the keystone to success. The C.W's gained that advantage early and held it for long time... the Iced Gems resorting to getting C and it worked.... for a second, as they went for C we went for A... the lead was ultimately too much to peg back and the Curly Wurlys had their 1st Domination win (If Im correct) in COD TT.
Game Three: R.I.S Old Skool on Shipment
C.W's 580 - 230 I.G's (3-0), MVP- Therapy (22, although mention to Bluebear's 21)
The crazy map (as I call it) and the shortest one was the order of the day here. With the R.I.S it worked well, but the respawns were arduous. The Curly Wurlys had a incredible start massing about 200 to the Iced Gems 20 (or about that amount), with the P90's and AK47's being picked up regularly the Curly's were always in control albeit a fightback by the Gems near the finish of the game. And a side, well done both teams I thought on the most disciplined game on shipment ever we didn't have one friendly fire (again correct me if im wrong).
Game Four TD on Wet Works (LMG's only)
C.W's 800 - 400 I.G's (4-0), MVP- Me1tdown101 (29 kills, but died 20 times as well)
This game was always going to be busy, hectic and full of the points. Both started up well... but I burst through the ranks taking 5 quick kills early and would the Gems get on the board. Well they made a good attempt of it but in the end they were overpowered by the attacking nature of the Curly's.
Curly Wurlys 4-0 Iced Gems
Conclusion
It was a good game.... I expected it to be close (draw close to be fair) but the Curly Wurly's played really well, we didn't really have strategies as Bluebear didn't have a mic and I cba to put one together, but the Iced Gems played well albeit the loss, im sure they can pull it out of the bag in the last game and take the remaining qualy place. And also thanks and well done Therapy for winning with us as a sub for Russian... and thanks Dong for nearly being there (story being previous post)

Re: RESULTS STORED HERE:
Just for people who are lazy, or because not all results are posted immediatly (like, 5 seconds have passed dude!), i've made a little league commentary for group B.... i'll write one up for A tomorow....
Team Jammy Dodgers are without a doubt THE team of Group B, far enough ahead that its currently impossible for any team to steal their number 1 spot...
Meanwhile, with only 1 game left to play AGAINST EACH OTHER joint second place teams Team HobNobs and Team Curly Wurly are both going to be hoping for that win to secure that vital second place.
of the 2 teams with 2 matches remaining, KitKat Chunky is currently looking the weakest, with gobstoppers already 2 points ahead. But with 2 matches left to play, its all to play for
Meanwhile, statistically bottom of the table with only 1 game left to play, but still in this competition, Team Iced Gems are going to be hoping for a Kit Kat victory in the week 4 match between Team Gobstoppers and KitKat Chunky, as this will still leave them in the running for a drawn fourth place, which, as i BELIEVE the rules are, it'll either go to score difference, or, in a matter much more entertaining, 4th place Faceoff!
With the top 3 spots essentially secured by their current holders, the teams which have had more unlucky games are going to be fighting tooth and nail for that fourth spot, so keep your eyes on this space for more exciting news from the world of MWGTT!

Right Week 4 result Kit Kat Chunkys 3 - Gobstoppers 1
Round 1
280 - 130 KKATS WIN
Kit Kats camped in the tunnel all match. Claymored and guarded each entrance. Worked a treat. Was infuriating to play against.
Round 2
200 - 125 KKATS WIN
Kit Kats mainly guarded B from the balcony... it changed hands a few times but not enough to get a win for Gobshites.
Round 3 410 -370 GOBS WIN
Nowhere to camp on this one,, was a very tight match Gobs didnt get into the lead untill 2 mins left on clock.
Round 4 340 - 240 KKATS WIN
Gobbys got off to a good start and tried to hold a high line just past mid deck... We pushed too far up the ship and the Kit Kats stated to spawn behind us... once we were seperated from each other we lost our rythem, plan and lead....
Well played Kit Kats... worked well as a team and deserved the win.... Gobstoppers in serious doo doo now....

Week 4 - Dunkin' Donuts vs Angel Delights
Round 1 - Hardcore Team Deathmatch - Pipeline
The first round of the night was a very cautious affair with both the Donuts and the Delights taking a very slow approach. The side, Captained by Webby played very concisely and conservatively, which probably went a long way to securing their victory. The majority of the time they stuck together while the Donuts spread out causing players to be isolated and picked off quickly.
Round Score: Donuts 150 - 170 Angel Delights
Round 2 - Domination - Showdown
The next round saw the Delights take the early lead by establishing the control point B and holding it well against the relentless Donut assault. However after some good play by Woolfy and Rossinio, the Donuts took the middle point and from then on held it against any attack. With Rossinio frantically hitting the respawn button trying to hold off any form of attack. Another closely fauught game here.
Round Score: Donuts 201 - 156 Angel Delights
Round 3 - Old Skool Hardcore Team Deathmatch - Shipment
The Weeks token crazy gametype saaw a lot of mayhem, with all players running around violently like crazy fools. Webby kept the Donuts at bay with spells with his vicious shotgun, with Fragmagnet performing admirably with the starting Scorpion. However, again stubborn play by the Donuts meant they managed to eke out a slender lead and eventually win the game by one kill...
Round Score: Donuts 750 v 740 Angel Delights
Round 4 - Core Team Deathmatch (LMGs Only) - Wet Work
In this final round, the Angel Delights had to get a win, and in the early stages they managed to gain a lead with Urbanbear leading the way. Still, resilient play by Maxxxine and her fellow Donuts, the score swung the other way and the Delights were hard pressed to get back in to it. Inventive play by the Delights could have worked on another day (Smoke Screen Attacks and on one occasions a suicidal nosedive from Urbanbear) however it was the Donuts who managed to stand firm and claim the final round victory.
Round Score: Donuts 410 v 330 Angel Delights
OVERALL SCORE: DONUTS 3 v 1 ANGEL DELIGHTS
Well played everyone, a good set of very very close games, there. 'Twas a fine match, to be sure!

HOBNOBS VS CURLY WURLYS
ROUND 1:
HARDCORE TEAMDEATHMATCH
BROADCAST
HOBNOBS 300 VS 200 CURLY WURLYS
Well a very close game and from the start Hobnobs decided to play the game from outside and setup camp around the 2 rear buildings.
We took a early lead and for most of the game their was 3-4 kills in it. Towards the end Curlys got desperate and attacked but our defence held and we took a good lead.
ROUND 2:
DOMINATION
CHINATOWN
HOBNOBS 139 VS 200 CURLY WURLYS
Hobnobs started well and had 2 flags down early on and had them for a fair while. But when we did lose 1 we collapsed and lose them all which everyone knows is big points to the other team. So after all our hard work on holding 2 flags we suddenly saw the Curlys take a good lead. The flags swapped back and forth but a second time they took 3 flags and again it pushed up their score. We tried to do the same and managed it for a few seconds but their tactics on the day was working better.
ROUND 3:
SEARCH & DESTROY
SHOTTY/SNIPER S&D
HOBNOBS 4 VS 3 CURLY WURLYS
Another very close game though the Curlys looked to be taking this home when they had a 3-1 lead over Hobnobs. A bit of luck and some top sniping brought the game back for Hobnobs and they won the next 3 rounds to take the game unexpectedly 3-4.
ROUND 4:
TEAMDEATHMATCH
KILLHOUSE
HOBNOBS 390 VS 360 CURLY WURLYS
Well the Curlys knew our tactics from last time and they hung back a little and picked us off. Took a 2-3 kill lead but we managed to compose ourselves and pick up a few kills to bring it back. Eventually the Hobnobs setup shop on choke points and watched each others flanks and eventually gained a small lead. The curlys did some very damaging assaults on our defence which seemed to really work and shake us up. With a bit of luck they may have broke us up but we kept calm and did well. On another day maybe in hardcore without radar we would have been broken up and split away from each other and bit more lost. But with radar we was able to recover quickly and again help each other out with positions and covering each other.
Very very close game and in last minute Curlys really pushed on and was in our faces. But Hobnobs just managaed to hold out.
Well very very close games and was a lot of fun, thanks for taking defeat so well curlys. Was a pleasure to play with you and was so close.
Good luck for knockouts
